Another new dutch member

Post by greenb310 »

Hi all,

I'm Gert from the Netherlands. A few weeks ago a bought my roadster from two fanatic roadster fans in the northern part of Holland. These brothers have a nice collection of 311s. My car belonged to their father who didn't use it often so this was my change :D

Car was brought by Andre, a Datsun friend of mine.

I'm also fan of the b310 series of Datsun, the Sunny or 140y.

Here's a pic of my 70 roadster:

Welcome! Very nice! So fun to see all the people from around the world. Anybody ever list out which countries where we have members or posters? I can think of Canada, US, Mexico, Netherlands (does that cover Denmark... hey, US education), Australia, Japan (I think), Philippines (I think)... where else?

Very pretty 1970 with a color seen on older models. I like it.

When you get out in the Dutch countryside somewhere I'd enjoy more shots of car & scenery.

And yourself, likely grinning broadly !

Germany has 1 I believe and don't forget the UK, where in spite of the obvious competition of MG & Triumph - there are about 5 or more. (Rob Beddington?) I also seem to recall a recent posting from France.
And we Europeans (technically including the UK) all understand the American sense of geography - if the US hasn't invaded it, then they don't know where it is <G>

But let me be honest, I don't now were all the states are in the US.

@Peter L. - unfortunately, many Americans don't know where all the states are either - see the link below.
Europeans are more fortunate in this regard because (for the most part) they are contiguous with at least two countries with differing cultures and languages - and even (for example Belgium and Switzerland) one country with two or more distinct languages and cultures.
