Howard,
Clicking the link in my previous post should take you to the webpage that says how to subscribe to the mailing list.
If that is not working for you (and I have no idea why it wouldn't), just go the 311s.org home page, then scroll down the list of links on the left. Right under the link for the "311s.org Forums" (which is where we are now) is the "Datsun Roadster Mailing List" link.
Here is what Tom Prather posted on the list yesterday:

WAAAA! WAAAA! It's too Hot! My air conditioner doesn't work. WAAA!Howard R wrote:Tom, I'm up for it. But it should be hot! Maybe a late breakfast or early lunch? Whadda ya think?
Hot hot can it be at 7,000 feet? If we leave at 9:30, take the side leg to the Wilson overlook, then up to Newcombs Ranch (aka the diner) about 12:00. A limonade (or a beer) in the shade of the mountain pines will keep you cool.

Ya know Victor, if I want to be belittled, I would have stayed married!
9:30 sounds good. Where do we meet? There's a burger king at the end of the Glendale Fwy. Exit Verdugo Blvd and make a left. Go about 200 yards on your left. From there it's about 2 miles to Angeles Crest Hwy. In fact I met 69ner(Rick) there two weeks ago. I wouldn't mind doing it this Sunday!!
