Jim,
From the Tech Wiki:

"Also, you can install speed bleeders in place of the old bleeders to make bleeding even easier yet. They are 3/8" x 24 TPI thread. Speedbleeders part number is SB3824 for both front and rear. You can visit their website to order!"

Thanks Linda. I will have to check up here in Canada to see if they carry them, or else go onto the speedbleeder website.

Thanks for finally spurring me into getting some speed bleeders Linda. I just ordered a set from Jegs. It was $25 for 4 of them ($5 s&h)

Cheers

Well, the car has new rubber on it today, and I loaded it onto a flat deck trailer for a trip into town to get an exhaust system. Frantically looking for all the great photos you all had online of your systems. I have a video of it running, but I can't seem to find a way to upload the video. None of the file extentions seem to be accepted.

Well, its off to the muffler shop today. Things I noticed when I loaded the car
-damn that trailer was high!
-the tire people put on the sticky weights and they rubbed on the front brake calipers
-found the 2 rear wheel cylinder retainer clips on the ground in the garage (oops)
-door still doesn't close right (will be a much larger repair to brace the bottom A post due to rust)
-no headlights (back up lights work though)
-I can't get collector plates due to it not having stock rims/stereo, stickers on the car
-I can't get modified plates because its not older than 1958

Summit racing should have them also. And you can put one on the slave cylinder too, I believe, but I forgot the size.

getting ready for exhaust sytem. I have a photo of the flex pipe he will use. He will weld on the flange and then use 1 3/4 through the X-member. He will use a 2" after that with a cherry bomb style muffler (basically a glass pack with baffles) just before the rear axle and go over the top with a cone style tip on the end

Wow, no muffler and it sounds pretty darn good. I like your red hoses.

ya, ya, ya...I will wash the windshield. I figure thats cosmetics at this point. I still have some other issues..
-headlights dont work (tail lights do and back up does)-minor issue I hope-connection likely
-seats don't slide (oh well, I need mine back all the way anyways-6 feet tall in a Roadster is just about Max)
-minor engine stuff-set the valves when its warm, set the carbs (doesn't start as easily as I remember when cold-sounds rough)
-take the tires back for another balancing-the sticky weights rubbed on the calipers-I took the weights off
-clean the car top to bottom-and windshield too

Heres the crappy photos of the exhaust system. 1 3/4" through the frame, then 2" into a turbo style muffler, over the axel, and then a small chrome tip.

The shop supplied everything including the flex pipe in previous posts. Cost about $500 Canadian
