What did I do for my roadster? Well, yesterday, I actually took her out of the garage, and drove into town to run errands with the top down. Mid 50's and sunny is as good as it gets in March around here; a person has to take advantage when he can! While I was out, I did pick up some SS screws to replace those that were a bit rusted, and some windshield washer line so I can have a clean windshield this summer!

Reversed the motor mounts and now have clearance to remove the air filter. Sadly I just had a new exhaust pipe installed and realize that the new engine position has rotated the new exhaust into contact with the frame. will have to re-do the exhaust. But the sun is out and it's supposed to hit the 70's here in the Tri-Cities so the top is comming off this weekend! Will be the first drive topless since I purchased the little sweetie. Can't wait!
Cheers!

Went to see the Chroming man today to find out progress on all my bits.
Haven't heard from him since last year!
Anyhoo, nearly all done and it looks fantastic!
Looks like I'll have to sell my body a bit more to pay the bills

Also visited a few Auto Upholsterers around my area getting ball park figures on the interior package.
Just as well I kept all the old clips for the webbing.
The seats have to be totally built up from scratch which will look great when done, but also means everything has to be custom made.

I noticed the slip on cover kit that Dean sells has 5 panels on the seat whereas my originals only have 4.
I don't know if it will be cheaper to get them from Dean or have everything custom made here in Oz :|
What I do know is that it would be a lot cheaper to do it all myself but I don't have the expertise nor the time to learn.
I intend to make all the cards myself and probably do the vinyl in the cabin, but the rest will be done by the trimmer.

Looking at the brochures on here the Japanese 310 brochure which has the 65 transition model shows 4 panels. The 1600 shows 5 panels.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Woody:
That aqua dipping procedure is so cool. Did you do it yourself or have it done?
