today I mounted my soft-top and I mounted the new bumpers, I don't like the over riders because the hang to much to the front, I think I take them off and do it without them.

Your car looks great! I Like the no over rider look also, at least on the front. All they do is dent up your nice shiny grill when someone stops short.

Peter,

Your hard work has paid off big. The car looks awesome. I second losing the over riders.

I like the overriders so that when someone parks their bumper doesn't go thru your grill, or trunk.

Peter, do you like the quality and fitment of the new bumpers?

the quality and fitment is good but the overriders are (at my idea) not straight(the angle) on the bumper. the hang somewhat over, but the rear bumper has to turn over a bit first, and then I can see of the fitting is correct.
The holes are all at the correct places in the bumpers, the send stainless steel bolts and plates and a long piece of rubber to fit between the over riders. the have bin nice polished and look almost as chrome, only the reflection of light shows a difference in color, chrome is somewhat blueish and steel more yellowish.
the send very fast, in 2 day's from Vietnam to The Netherlands under duty paid to my house, great work.

Beautiful work! I prefer the look without the over riders, but neither is bad!
I would be proud to sport either look especially with such a high caliber and flawless restoration as yours.

Thank you, I see when I look to the picture that the backside hangs a little, maybe is the suspension at the front a little bit hi so In a time I will lower them, that looks nicer for the front wheels I hope.

My car past the test for the road and I am waiting for the papers to let make the number plates
There are some miner problems I find, air in the small radiator, a carburetor that has overflow problems, to much temperature on my gauge (220F), but I know that that is impossible, so there has to be something else, and sediment from the fuel tank what I find in the filter(about 1/4 inch).
So enough small problems.
