I'm guessing the same way I got mine on GT4, play the Jap import section/area lots and hopfully one shows up used.

Good luck.

i got lucky and just came across it one day. I can't remember if I got it on the online store (the box under the seasonal events) or if i found it in the used cars section.
I believe the used cars section rotates cars based on days visited to the site, so try to log in every day to see if the cars rotate.

i think the online store rotates it's stock just by time elapsing overall.

good luck!

Thanks for the help. I actually found some great information in the Gran Turismo 5 forum. Probably anyone here that wants the srl311 could go to this web site. http://gt5cars.net/used_car_searches/new" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; All you need to do is place the first six cars names in the boxes, but do them in order. Then when your finished just type the car you want in the bottom. Then when the next page loads it will tell you how many more "game days" you still need to wait. In order for you to be able to buy the srl311 in the used car dealership.

Main source for all this information is from "http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=134403"

Bringing this thread from the dead. For some reason it only occurred to me last night to search for what games had the Roadster in them, and I have GT5, though I barely played it (by the time I bought it, I was mostly playing other racing games on PS4...Polyphony Digital's lengthy development process didn't help).

Anyway, when I get home from work I'll be going through until I can get it to show up. Apparently there are tricks to get the used cars to cycle faster. Maybe I'll finally be able to (virtually) drive a Roadster. Haha.

I bought the game just for the roadster but I have never been able to access it.
I'll try some of these tips.

Finding a roadster in a video game was the actual reason I now own one. I didn’t know it existed until then. It was available in Forza Horizons 3.

Forza 6 (xbox) has a 1969 2000 in it. You earn credits by racing and then you use those credits to buy your cars.

It looks like it was in Forza Horizon 3, Forza 6, and Forza 7 games.

I had Forza 4 on Xbox 360, and really enjoyed it considering I only played it on the controller.

But I don't really care for Microsoft, and then the "always listening, always connected to the internet" thing was announced for Xbox One, I decided I'd pass (at the time I didn't even really have an internet connection). I went PS4 and now I'm all in since my steering wheel/pedal combo is PS3/PS4 only.

That said, I do miss Forza. When they started the series they were David taking on the Goliath of Gran Turismo...and in many ways they have won. I mean...PS4 isn't even going to get a real Gran Turismo, only Gran Turismo Sport which is greatly lacking compared to its lineage.

Oh well...

There must be some sort of prerequisite to getting the Roadster.

I've used the trick to cycle through days for probably 2 hours worth of time, and seen many vehicles multiple times, but never the Fairlady 2000. :/

EDIT: Somehow overlooked the Excel documents to help figure out when a vehicle should come up (I tried the other link but it was dead). I'll put the info in when I get home...and hopefully figure out how far I am from the Fairlady 2000.

EDIT 2: According to the spreadsheet, it looks like I'm on Day 247. The Fairlady 2000 apparently doesn't show up until Day 457. Guess I've got a ways to go  Oh well, at least I didn't just miss it and have to wait till Day 1,329
