Proposed NorCal Fun Run, Skyline - La Honda

OK all you Bay Area Roadsterholics, now that we have a new title for a proposed fun run, let's try to find a date and location. I am proposing the run from San Mateo West on Hwy 92, South on Hwy 35, East on Hwy 84 to Pescadero, North on Hwy 1 to Half Moon Bay, and back East on 92 to San Mateo. 1.5 hour drive or so, plus maybe a stop in Half Mon Bay or La Honda. So, three questions for you to answer:

1) Are you interested and available for an afternoon run (start around 4 pm) on Sunday Feb 24?
2) Are you interested and available for a morning run (start around 8:30 am) on Saturday Mar 23?
3) Is there a second choice route you think we should consider on one of those days?

If we get critical mass around one of those days, off we go....

I can probably do either of the dates.

But I may want to meet you guys in route like maybe at 92 and 35 or 35 and 84 if I am running late. If I see a bunch of roadsters go past me the other way I will turn around.

I live in Boulder Creek so getting to san mateo is a ways out for me. But I would like to run around the hills with you and up to halfmoon bay and then I would propaby leave the group and head back home via 92 to skyline to 9 or maybe out of halfmoon bay I may go PCH 1 south down to santa cruz along the coast and up 9 to Boulder Creek.

Perfect plan! I drove up and down Skyline Blvd a couple times last month just enjoying the ride/sun. It's a great example of the "Bay Area Backroads".
