New to forum
Hi, my name is Nick and I live in Orange County California.
I have a 1967 1600 roadster which had been off the road since the early 80s before I got it. I've just got it running and driving but there's still plenty of work to do on it..

Welcome and glad to hear of a rescue. You have found the right place for advice with your car. I believe there are quite a few roadstrs in the OC area too.

Re: New to forum
Thanks guys!
There certainly seems to be a wealth of knowledge here - I'd never even heard of a roadster before I got mine but I've been learning!
I've attached a pic of my roadster as it looks at the moment. I don't really have any history on it - I got it from a tow yard that said they were going to fix it up but never did. Looks like it had a rebuilt engine reasonably soon before it got parked and possibly some brake work too.

Hey Nick,
Welcome. Much information to absorb from this website and the forums.
Looking at your first post made me think of AA: Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a Roadsteraholic.
Not meaning to make fun of alcoholics or AA.

Re: New to forum
You may want to check and see if your VIN is in the Roadster Registry.

Hello Nick. (Or 'Neek' if you're old enough to remember the movie 'Top Secret' starring Val Kilmer)
Nice to hear about another rescue. Running and driving? That's a lot more than what I've done so far with mine.
Have fun with her.
