Hayashi Street copies (Rota)
Can someone tell me if I'm thinking this thru correct? Rota makes Hayashi copies and I'm interested in the Street wheels, but they only come in +4 +25 offsets for 15x7. I was told to be safe I should stay at about +15. Should I get the +25 and get 10mm spacers to stay within the +15 range? Will I need new longer wheel lugs? Will this be my best choice? I know there are some wheel gurus out there. Please advise. Thanks,

Yes and yes. +4 MIGHT fit though, maybe someone who has that offset can chime in.Should I get the +25 and get 10mm spacers to stay within the +15 range? Will I need new longer wheel lugs?
I change studs anytime I use more than a 5mm spacer.

I would get the +25 and use spacers just to be safe
+4 on a 15x7 is dangerously close to a zero offset. The zero offset 15x7 wheels I've tried don't fit, at least on my roadster with 205/50/15 tires

Re: Hayashi Street copies (Rota)
My work wheels were 15x7 +7 and would just barely rub on the back outside lip. My fenders weren't rolled.

Re: Hayashi Street copies (Rota)
+12 to +15 is safe ,my wheels at a +7 didn't fit on one side of rear, the other had about 2 mm to spare. I rolled my fronts but rolling the rear won't give you any more clearance unless you pull them a bit also but be careful with pulling, old paint/bondo doesn't like to be pulled. You also have the option of buying spacer with the studs built into them, I'm running a set now and have been for almost 2 years with no issues.

Tom, I have seen these on 510s and I wonder if they have front hubs as big as out roadsters…one thing to keep in mind!

510 hubs are smaller........Alvin wrote:Tom, I have seen these on 510s and I wonder if they have front hubs as big as out roadsters…one thing to keep in mind!
I would get the +25......
You might want/need as little as 5-7 mm spacer (1/4")....IIRC +18 work better on the back on many cars......
Yes...I would get longer studs......
I have 15x7 +12 and had to roll the rear for 205/50s

Get the +25's and space them to taste. Make sure they can clear a 73mm hub.

I might have spoken too soon. It might be impossible to find the +15s. I'm probably going to email a vendor and ask.

Re: Hayashi Street copies (Rota)
I think +4 would look great in the rears (with a little fender pulling) But wouldn't they stick out a lot in the front? The deep dish would be worth fender adjustments.Alvin wrote:Alex,
