You have to tap it off at each end with a piece of soft wood. Protect the paint. Be careful not to bend it.

Scary bright! A good heat source too if working on front of car in the cold

I might have to beef up the mounting area some how, every little bump and pebble in the road makes the beam jiggle.

It just wraps around the leading edge on the "scoop".
Grasp one end and pull gently and it should part company.
Ease it off along its' length, but don't cause a bend in it as you do.

Went up Angeles Crest Hwy to Newcomb's Ranch diner, above the 5000 ft elevation in the Angeles Forest, above Mt Wilson. 80 degrees when I left my house, 45 degrees on arrival. Me, a 280Z, a Lotus and a bunch of Bikers.

put the roadster up on the jacks took wheeles off and split the rims for tire removal,removed hood, front/rear bumpers, all lights and hardware and now after dinner taking the front fenders off. Start of a fantastic evening

Preped my frame and suspension components for paint, then got first coat of chassis saver on. Will get second coat on in the morning. Man that's a lot of work! Now I know why people pay so much for powder coating. Mike

What I did FOR my roadster... Today I finally got rid of my roadster parts car and made room to put my Roadster & my 1200 Coupe back in the garage!

Its been at a storage site for the past 3 months while I've been robbing parts off that parts car. Today I cleaned up the messy garage. Nice to have the parts car gone and the "drivers" back home again!

Took the distributor off and send it to east coast roadster. Just waiting for the new distributor am tired of the mechanical points.
