Hello everyone my name is Matt and I just towed my fathers 66 1600 home. He purchased it brand new off the show room floor at Long Beach Datsun and has owned several others over the years. He raced them in FP for Long Beach Datsun and growing up this is all i ever heard about while working on his roadsters. He has given his first to me now and I am going to do it justice and do a complete overhaul on it. Looking forward to speaking with you all! As soon as i take some pics ill upload

thank you everyone for the werlcome and i definately look forward to meeting you guys! i think i may go to a show you all go to while im working on it for inspiration. Oh and yeah i have driven it before, it was what i learned to drive in. Ill have some pics tonight!

Correct my father got tired of people always asking him what it was so he made up some decals that say"1600 Roadster" they will however not be going back on

That looks sweet.
I am pretty close, Laguna Hills. Still working on my 2000 engine rebuild but am always willing to help out in the mean time. I had a 2000 as a kid and am pretty familiar with them.

Welcome, I work in Yorba Linda and live in south county. I pulled my 67.5 1600 apart and still putting it back together. I may be able to help you out with some questions. Car looks good.
