On the road again

Post by JoeK »

I know I haven't had as many foibles as others. But tomorrow is her maiden voyage, at least 5 good miles to get the windshield put in. Then this weekend, we'll test drive her all the way to Watsonville for the Watsonville Classic Airshow. That's about 90 miles each way.

I didn't really do all that much, just pulled the motor and all accesorries so I could do a complete color change. Funny, now everybody tells me my car looks smaller, and sexier. Helen, my 84 year old landlord, told me it looks much "sexier" now. Now if I could just figure out a way to keep it clean

I'll get a few more pics up after I get the blue tape off the windshield. My avatar is current though.

I went for the most dramatic color change. As big a change as possible. Any guesses?

I miss all the shows :( My sister is getting married on the 4th and I think I'm supposed to show people to their seats :) When's the next show/meet after July 20th?

Hmmmm......is this the beginning of a Black Roadster Trend? :P

Joe, there's the Mt. Shasta Run July 9-10.

Yeah, I tried to get the old lady to cut the honeymoon short so I could make Shasta, but then had to duck rather quickly.

CONGRATULATIONS JOE!

Glad that you've got it all back together.

Aren't black roadsters the coolest?

Bummed to hear that you won't be able to make any shows in the near future. Maybe we should try and have another east bay hills run.

Your avatar looks great. Can't wait to see it in person.
