I certainly hope that member is gone. Jon is an old timer in our community, and I have found him to be stellar.....one of the good guys!Skyman wrote: He stated on the forum he was not doing gauges anymore after a member on this site publicly trashed him. So I got a new phone a while back, and I decided to take better night pictures of the gauges…notoptoy wrote:Nice work all around. Your picture is not very clear, but it looks like those gauges would be hard to read?

I figured out if I turn off the odometer, the camera can grab the speedo.. duh..

Re: 1968... 1600->SR20
So I am tired of squeezing around to get to the oil filter, and I get to change it pretty often..
What to do, What to do?
Going to need to get new elbows made to replace the straight outs, but they are threaded in to the piece, so that should be easy..

Yum...

Re: 1968... 1600->SR20
Is that the Circuit Sports remote filter? If so, I just installed mine last weekend. I couldn't find a location in my engine compartment that didn't kink the lines too much so I installed mine in the wheel well. I have the S13 so probably have even less room than you have to reach the filter. The risk is that it could catch a rock but I can always fabricate a shield. The advantage is that I did not need to change the fittings. I ran the hoses straight out above the stock brake fitting(with some minor trimming).
One of the nice features is the fittings allow the installation of mechanical oil pressure and oil temp gauges.
