reservoir is full? no leaks? :smt102
check the connection at the hardline/hose, and inspect the hose connection on the slave for a copper crushwasher.
I used a broom wedged against the seat back to bleed. But your seats are way nicer. :D

Check inside at the firewall, pull the rubber boot up, any fluid or dampness?

Doesn't seem to be any leaks, reservoir is full. Air is sneaking in there somewhere.

I'll take a closer look tomorrow; bleeding fixed it for a day.

1600-ish... Hahah, nice.

How does the hose look? I've had a hose that looked like hell but worked fine, I replaced it with a new one that developed a leak that drove me crazy, and the replacement for that hose that has lasted for years. It might be the culprit. It might also be the clutch slave or yes the master.

I feel your frustration, I hate when seemingly simple projects go backwards due to stupid little stuff. The good news is that the hose, clutch master and slaves are all easy enough to get and aren't horribly expensive. The last time I had clutch issues I think I was able to source both a master and slave from Kragen or Napa Autoparts. I'm pretty sure I used 510 parts no less.

Just note that if you use the 510 parts, the pushrod is typically WAY too long, even when adjusted to the shortest length. Swap the push rods before installation and save yourself some major headaches. It CAN be done from in the car, but it is not fun or easy! You don't need to ask how I know this.

Today I bought parts. Lots of parts. I figure if you replace EVERYTHING, the problem must disappear. 8)
