Interesting look. I like the custom grill that Mark Sedlack had drawn up at one point. Personally, I don't think that I want to put that much metal in the hole of a car that has a reputation of overheating thoug.

I used galvanized wire mesh, with 1/8" openings. I put one piece mounted vertically, and piece behind on a 45 degree angle to get the criss-cross effect. As far as overheating, I don't think the airflow will be that impeded. Anyway, my car, even in hot weather, barely breaks 160 degrees. And that is with a 180 degree thermostat. I was told that the radiator was recored.

My car always runs that cool too. Should I be happy, or concerned it's not running hot enough.

BTW the grill looks great Howard!

It may take a few more minutes to warm up, but my mechanic says cooler is preferable to hotter. (Just the opposite of women). Anyone with a different opinion?
