New owner here

Post by slash2nut »

I just picked up a 1969 2000 yesterday. It is in remarkable good shape with just 2 previous owners. I have to admit I was not familiar with the 311's but a friend of mine saw the ad on craigslist. I was looking for a Triumph TR6 or an MG or some sort. My friend "advised" me that the 2000 was far superior to any British car of the era. So here I am.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice,

Congrats. Looks like a nice car. Your friend is obviously a very wise person. When your leaving MGs behind you can thank them.

Welcome to the world of Datsun Roadsters! We are a dedicated bunch, occasionally crazy, usually not too opinionated (let's chalk any of that up to passion and love for the car) and very supportive. Feel free to ask questions, join groups, share knowledge and experiencies or just lurk... it's all good!

welcome, your car looks really clean. So clean, I can't show pictures of it to my car, who will then think I'm not giving enough.

Welcome, Looks like a great start. MG's are scary, but I admit, I have the itch for a Triumph occasionally.
