Thanks guys and sorry RCMike for beating you to this Golden Nugget ! lol. To make you feel better, the previous owner was releived that I was a local only 20mns away ! He said he did not want to deal with the hassle of shipping the car and told me that a buyer from Australia wanted it bad what ever the asking price ! I was fortunate enough to go and test drive it prior to making the deal and drove it home ! He had to sell it cause the wife complained that there was no AC and has a bad hair day everytime she takes a ride in it ! (I love his wife she made my day) I was very lucky because the upgrades are first class and big $$$ ! The seller called me 2 days after and said he wanted his car back ! I said no problem, you can have it for $25K and we laughed about it. He had no idea what he had and what it was worth as is and he used to be the coowner of a dealership, go figure. Sometimes the little people get lucky !
As for the feedback on the stock calipers, it made my day because that will save me quite a few hard earned benjamins by ordering only 2 rebuild kits from Dean. I guess the brakes needed a complete rebuild when I bought the car and since it is my first Roadster I did not know if they were better originally.
Which brings my next question: do they make better pads for it? like semi metalic?

Looks great. I can wait to see it in person. We are trying to schedule a meet up the next few weeks in St. Augustine. I come down to Fort Lauderdale a few times a year and hope to catch up.

A couple of things I don't like about the car, but I love the seats!

I love those seats, they look so modern and yet still fit the Roadster.

This is a good read about pads and fluid.

A nice wood steering wheel would look great with those seatsIMHO. Very nice car.

Linda I agree with you about the wooden wheel but I was procrastinating about about the inevitable. A nice Nardi brown tint to match the seats ! I saw one and as soon as I am done installing the performance 1 5/8 headers and EI kit I just got from Dean and rebuilding the Solex carbs, it will be my next add on. Can't wait to get her idling and roaring as she should so I can take a her to Marco Island via Alligator alley across the Everglades.
