Any of you old timers remember attending this show many years ago. It used to have 500 classic cars. Now it's up to 700.
As always, it's all about classics. And parking on the lawn. Bbq's. Music. Cars!
Google; Jimmys Old Car Picnic for info.
I will be there again. If you want to corral let me know.

A correctly worn mexican poncho would have kept you warm if you weren't wearing it as a shawl.
Orale Ese!
(My calender is marked for Jimmys Old Car Picnic. Thanks for the heads up Calspeed)

I remember the first time we got the Roadsters together was in Y2K. Fred Katz, Todd Osbourne, Mike Young, Daniel (?), Leigh Brooks...
I'm going to get there early to reserve a spot for a few cars. I will have an EZUp and table and chairs. I won't be in a Datsun. So look for this car.
And if you're interested, the dress theme is '70s.
Bring food for yourself since it's difficult to know who and how many show up. So far it two. My 1970 280S and my friends '63 VW Bug. We can have the import section in a sea of Detroit Iron.

Yes...just show up.
But get there early. It gets really busy at registration. And the roads get super congested in the park. I arrive at 730 then take a nap in the car. There will be up to 700 cars. This show truly is one of the best kept secrets for vintage enthusiasts. Without a doubt, one of the best car shows in California.

In Houston, just off Interstate 10 (i10).
Been 5.5 years in TX, but I have a sneaking suspicion that some day I'll be back in the Bay Area.

Bumping the thread...
Show coming up on a week. If you plan to attend bring yourself some folding chairs and maybe shade? I plan to get there early to reserve a nice spot under a tree.
