BUMP.
Roadster show season is ending in the PNW and you should NOT miss this fine meet.
With the generous support of Bill and Karen Neal and their family this meet has grow to the biggest
gathering of roadsters in BC, WA and OR.!
Should be around 30 roadsters for the 5th SHEDD Roadster BBQ.
Where else you going to see 30+ roadsters, Spriso SR conversions, Datsun Legend, Jack Scoville,
Partake in a spirited long Roadster "drive" on great back roads, eat a fine BBQ and
meet Bill Cole without his helmet that he wears in his avatar! (He is really not that ugly, but close!).
Don and Sandi Anderson and myself will arrive Friday afternoon (to get first in line for the BBQ!).
We have 3 roadsters coming from Seattle and Garth is coming from BC in the Solvang support ROGUE.
(Garth's Roadster is SOOO close but not ready yet. NEXT year!!)
Free camping at The Neal's beautiful spread.
If its your first visit, GPS guidance ends on the road. Look for a small sign and gravel driveway headed west.
This is FARM country and the Neal's spread is so far back from the main road you can not see it.

We had to leave early to do some packing for another trip-- but it was great to catch up with our long-time roadster friends!

Special thanks to Bill and Karen for hosting this event. I took my son AJ on his first roadster cruise and he loved it, but he was disappointed that he did not get to attend the barbeque!

Here are a few shots from the cruise this morning:

It was great to have Jack Scoville out with us today, 83 years old and driving his newly acquired 69 2000 roadster!

Wish we could have stayed longer...

Thanks again,

To Everyone who attended the Shedd BBQ on Sat., thank you all very much. There was great cars, good food and wonderful friends. Thanks also to those that helped. We are going on a "chowder run" Sept. 9th and we will post time and directions later.

Congratulations Karen and Bill for organizing the perfect event and being the most gracious hosts. Kudos to Bill Cole for selecting and leading the fun run! Thanks to Dave Neal who generously lent me a vintage Datsun 240Z to participate in the fun run.

Great time! Can't wait till the next time. Kathy & Garth

Safe Home, Ted.
