Another CA roadster owner

Post by burn8 »

Hi everyone,

I live in the SF Bay Area and just took a road trip down to southern CA to pick up this 1970 2000 (1600 engine). Ill be swapping out the old 1600 for an SR and can't wait to get started.

Looking forward to working with all of you!

Welcome to the forum! It's rare that anyone swaps the way yours has been done, so you get a ready made serial number for an upgrade!

I think the general wisdom here is to drive it until the weather goes bad, then do the swap.
The fun of the drive will encourage the work.
It's like an addiction. Once you get a taste, you'll want more.
