Saturday too maybe to go to Wildwoodstock event in Saratoga as a final destination. Or will go solo with my better half...

Great Idea, Alvin! I'm up for it! I would be happy to re-try the Diablo fun run that rained out previously- starting in Danville / San Ramon at my garage, then taking a run up Mt Diablo via South Gate Road and back down Mt Diablo via North Gate Rd and Walnut Creek (lunch at The Counter, Five Guys, or George's, each claiming to be the best Burgers in town), then ending at the Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville, where they have a Docent-led tour at 2 pm each day on weekends (1 hour). Amazing cars at that museum. $10 entry fee.

If we did this, likely start around 9 am, finish after the museum. I'm open Sunday August 26. Anyone interested in Sunday August 26? Otherwise, I'd have to push it into later September...

Dave, Aug 25 looks ok for me for Diablo / Blackhawk. Thanks for offering to organize again.

If anyone is interested in doing a drive this weekend, I am thinking of doing a run in the East Bay from Milpitas to Sunol via Calaveras Rd and then a few options from there depending on interest.

Sunday Aug 12 - proposed (rough) timing
Meet at Starbucks at Hwy 17 / Camden at 1pm (San Jose / Campbell)
Meet at Calaveras Rd at Piedmont Rd at ~1:30 (Milpitas)
Meet at Sunol train station by ~2:00-2:30 pm

Timing will likely depend on how many people we have and how much time we spend BS-ing at each stop.

PM me if you are interested and we can work out details and exchange contact info. I am flexible on timing if we need to adjust.

As for this weekend...I need to put one of my cars in storage and that day appears to be Sunday afternoon. If I free up I'll know where to find you!
