I've been looking at the Flaken Azeni Sports 195/60/14 from Discounttire for $59.
Looks like the Ziex in the same size is an all-season for $58.
Sports sound like they'd be more fun when the road is dry.

I can lend some insight into the Yokohama AVS's. Had them on my 1993 MR2 Turbo. I absolutely loved them. Excellent all around tire. Good dry and wet performance. Quite. Actually OK in the snow too!

I'd rather have body roll than have the tire roll on itself on a corner, although putting a 195 on an 7.5 - 8" rim will make for some interesting stiffness no matter what tire I go with...if it even fits!alving wrote:Also beware that b/c of the super-stiff sidewalls an sticky nature that if you have stock suspension yoo will experience more body roll!alfred183 wrote:Yeah, I'm not sure if all Falken tires are the same, but Azenis are really wider than they say. Just beware if you have fitment issues. I'm probably getting 195/60/14 Azenis for my 14x8 0 offset mags. I like the super stiff sidewall![]()
Gary, just get the AVS-ES100s, $68-$69 from the TireRack.

I've got 185/60/14 tires on my roadster. They are made by Doral. I never heard of this brand. The previous owner said he had the speedo recalibrated to compensate for the smaller diameter. Anyone have info on these tires? When they wear out, I was thinking of redline tires. I thought they would look cool. My car is red. However, I have not been able to find any redlines in 185/60/14.

The folks at diamondback can tell you the exact difference/sizes between their tires. They specialize in them. Even, if they don't show the size you want, they can probably can make it for you.
Again, plan on $150+ a tire. I had custom made Wide White Walls made for my 66 roadster, and they ran about that...

Will the Falkens fit on the stock steel rim, or do I have to wait until the budget can include Panasports?
