We have done it several times....Down the Alley.
Better than running a Race Car that early in the morning...
I've got that one covered... What? you mean they don't want a 98.5 dB exhaust rolling through town at that time of day?

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Im loaded for Solvang. Keith Williams and I are leaving Vegas at 7am tomorrow. I want to Thank all of my Datsun comrades for your continued support. As most of you know, I bought my first Datsun 2 summer's ago. I was estatic to partake in the festivities in Solvang last year. After Solvang I was hell-bent to find a 1/2 year 2 liter Datsun and go the distance!(scratch one off my bucket list) Most of you know in September 2011 I found one!!!! It has been a challenging journey..with lots of blood sweat & tears. Who would have thought in 6 months. with my "backyard" mechanic expertise I would have made it this far. Not me!! It is still a work in "progress". I am still looking for some parts and a paint job.. so the journey continues. Look for me & my "diamond in the rough" in Solvang this weekend.

Here's my half year 2000 that i have been feverishly working on this week. It's a little crusty on the front from being near a house that caught fire thats ok #491 is alive once more.
I had to swap the whole drive train to a good runner that i had in my kids car I do have the matching numbers engine and early solex package for it. I also had to change out all of the hydralics. It seems pretty good so far not much of an interior but it is going to get a full restore within the year or two anyway.
Thanks
Kevin
See you all in Solvang
