Wanted : 311 set up for SCCA / Vintage Road Racing

Post by hport »

All,

I'm looking to build a 311 for vintage and local SCCA events here in the northeast. I'm looking for a car that has been preped for road racing. It can be complete, parts, or somewhere in between. I'm in the process of getting a comp license and should be ready by 2006. I don't have a bank roll for a high-end racer, but have the facility and equipment to restore an older racer or build one, i'm trying to stay away from the latter, as it always cost more to build new. Any help would be great.

RE:SCCA Road Race Prepped Roadster

I just happen to have one that is SCCA GP log book certified for the San Francisco Region. It is pretty much ready to go on the track when ever you are. If you want pictures and more info just PM me. It is a 66 1600 fully race prepped.

See my posts here about my racecar. Comes complete with everthing you need to go racing, car, trailer, canopy, fuel, tires, spares. It would take at least $20k to duplicate. I'm basically giving it away for $10k. It's set up well, is fairly quick, and reliable.

If I don't get any takers, I will eventually start parting everything out, since I know I'll get more money out of it that way. My hope is that I can pass the car along to someone who's interested in racing it.
