Thank you. That shift knob was just too high up for me, so I passed it on to Woody, who wanted it badly. ;)

@ bikermike: Yes it is, one reason I really wanted to get these wired up. :)

Good tip Garm:
their search feature there is not very good. They are listed under Vintage Fog light kit: http://www.thehotrodcompany.com/shopnow ... id=C364002" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I just paid a lot more money for a suspiciously similar set! If these are the same, I really like them. It's a very smooth shape, the chrome work is really good. The base sits very nicely on the fascia, not like some of the cheap stand-off's that I have seen. And it has the correct one-wire bullet connection to plug into the Roadster harness (though using a relay that is not as important.
"When all else fails, force prevails!" Ummm, we're gonna need a bigger hammer here.

These sound the same, but they just have a trailing wire, no bullet connection. I was too lazy to track down the link, thanks for posting it.

I have a set of amber ones that didn't look as good on my car -- if anyone wants them they are $60 shipped.

I had the Momo knob, sat too high, I ended up cutting the stick shorter, then it was nice.

Problem: Newly recovered seats feel very nice, but not quite enough thigh support.
Solution: Steel spacers (I dislike piles of washers) under the front seat studs only. I used 3/8".

Success! The seats feel a lot better.

Problem: Bare floorpan.
Problem: Not enough money for carpet kit or custom mats. And can't get them in time for Solvang anyway.

Solution: Gym flooring! Perfect for Spike. Sweat resistant!

Cleaner cut, final versions to come after I make a better template.

Cool idea. Nice for a trunk mat. Bring Gatorade and wear shoes with a thick sole. Might be a WARM floor.

Do not try "Downward Facing Dog "in that space.

Linda :?
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

I too like the fog lights. Nice work. Can't wait to see the car in person next weekend.
