Pat Mahoney's Bolt Packs

Well, where better a place to put another plug in for Pat's frame bolt packs. Money well spent on a frame off restoration. You can contact Pat at dynaguy54@hotmail.com You can read about what you get on the main site or do a search of this forum.

As I'm putting my '68 back together, I'm replacing all the nuts and bolts with stainless. In the process of all this, I seem to have lost the original fender bolts that bolt the bottom rear of the fender to the body. Does anybody know what size these are? I don't seem to have a bolt in my collection that will fit that particular hole.

Most everything else that bolts the body together, doors, fenders, hood and trunk are either 5/16x24 or 1/4x28, but neither size works, nor 6mm or 8mm.

Thanks much,
Joe

fender bolts

Joe, I ran a tap through the threads on that lower mount captured nut. That is a bad area for rust. A 5/16-24x3/4" worked for me. Hope this helps. Pat Mahoney '69 2000

bolt packs

For those that have inquired. My bolt packs are back in stock and available for immediate shipment. There has been a slight price increase due to the rising costs of steel worldwide. PM me for contents and pricing. Pat Mahoney '69 2000
