My roadster is near (well maybe still a month away) from its final coat and I would like to make its new color as close to Spanish Red (standard color for '69) as I can. The paint chips floating around the site are small, and even if they were larger, the variation in scanning and printing could result in the sample being substantially different than the original color.
Has anybody gone figured out a modern equivalent color that I could tell my body shop to use? Or perhaps a more recent car that is likely to be in one of their books that has the same color?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Modern equivalent to Spanish Red
I used to have a paint can that had the complete formula to use for Spanish Red. I made the mistake of giving it to my body shop. They matched the color but then threw away the can!
