S13 LSD Rearend
Alright, I've tried searching, (I promise Alvin) but I haven't found a thread about anyone trying a S13 rear end in a roadster. Is there a reason, if I'm already doing a S13 swap, why I wouldn't want to put a S13 rear into the car?
I only ask because I found a LSD one and started wondering

Re: S13 LSD Rearend
confused. You mean trying to put the S13 innards into a roadster pumpkin, then getting roadster axles to mate with the S13 guts, or swapping the car to IRS?

Re: S13 LSD Rearend
Yeah, I love the pics. I studied all the pictures. I guess my question wasn't as much on is a IRS good, but has anyone done the S13 IRS? Isn't the picture one of a Mustang onto a Roadster?

The picture and album linked above is the adaptation of an ENTIRE Nissan 240sx (S13) IRS rear suspension/axle onto a Datsun roadster frame.scogre wrote:Yeah, I love the pics. Re: S13 LSD Rearend
Im not seeing in the shots the installation of the shocks / springs. There is just the big hole empty hole in the upper control arms.

Im looking for that GSL-SE ALA-Spriso End for mine. On the hunt for a donor. My gut tells me you cant beat the bolt in unit they will provide. Who will help me out here? Hands down, Spriso will make the Sr fit like a glove, but I've lost track on the 3rd member....I'm saving my duckets for mine NOW!

Re: S13 LSD Rearend
I guess If one was going for a rotary swap as well, thats the time to buy the car. There is a gentilman down the road from me that seems to be big on RX7 and Miatas. He has about a 1/2 acre fenced plumb full of rx's and miatas. It looks as if he road races the miatas. Anyway, I hope to locate something there..Please correct me if I wrong, but I'm after the 84-5 gsl-se? Thanks for the help Alvin.

Anyone ever try a 7.5 Toyota rear Axle?
I wonder is one could make the gears fit a H190 (7.5").
