The mounting rings appear to be custom made from a CNC machine. I have yet to measure the gauges but I will have to soon as I may need a new tachometer.

Small parts went in today. Put in door locks and replaced the trunk lock. The old trunk lock was painted over and missing tumblers so it had to be operated by a screw driver.

Some work on the drum brakes, and we're back on the road. Got to blast around the small highways going about 65 listening to Metallica. If anyone wants to know, you can easily hear the radio from speakers in the rear with the soft top down, even in my noisy car. Going under tunnels, no so much, need to get a video of that.

Same type of video as last time but with non-stuck brakes and a camera mount that isn't made of painters tape.

I properly wired in the tachometer which now works correctly, I also installed and wired in a temperature sender. There was no bung for one, so I used a hose adapter which luckily doesn't leak. I also put in a properly sized accessory belt as the old one was slightly too big.

I was able to take the car out after a quick wax the day before. First pictures I've taken of it after a proper cleaning and while it is in one piece

Thanks, but it only looks shiny from so far away. No rust, but the paint is cracking all over the place and looks like they just spilled the paint on. Still lots of work to do, but none of it is under the hood anymore, so now my knuckles can heal up and the grease will be out of my nails.

Those are your seats (late model factory seats) recovered with a "seam" in the back.

I don't know if that a factory design recover, but it is easy to do. A loop is sewn into the seam and a metal rod in installed, some strings are tied to the rod and it is pulled toward the back and tied off.
Sometimes it tied to the seat, sometimes to a second metal rod.
