Is there a cheaper swap for the clutch master on a '67 1600?

If you use this master cylinder, make sure the reservoir isn't too tall. I drove my car around for 3+ years with the hood hitting the master cylinder (admittedly I bought it that way but still duh, I should have figured it out sooner). You should be able to swap reservoirs from your old m/c to the new one to avoid that problem. Also, make sure you adjust the rod to the correct length - not too long or too short. Too short and your clutch pedal won't set up as far as your brake pedal. Too long and you'll effectively be "riding the clutch" all the time even with your foot off the pedal.

I think I posted a part number for both the master and the slave cylinders in the common part #s or part interchange list. Check both just to be sure.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
