Just recently while at a standstill, tried to shift into 1st, there is the grinding, as if I don't have the clutch in. I tried depressing the clutch and the same thing happened. I rolled the car back a foot or so (I was on a slight incline), and got into 1st with no problem. This happens very infrequently, but is it a precurser to some larger problem? Any thoughts?
Thanks, Howard

RE:Clutch
You might want to revisit your clutch slave adjustment after you have made sure there is no air in the clutch hydraulics. That adjustment needs to be fine tuned after some road miles as parts wear.
