Nice find,
I like the color, is it paint code 531, beige gray metallic? (sort of green silver-ish color). I am painting my 69 with this color (because it was the original factory color). I have not seen another ( in person) painted this color.

It sure looks like it is 531, beige grey metallic. but i'm not sure, and the sticker is gone. is there another way to find out? I mean.... even under the seats and inside the trunk under the carpeting is that color. so i guess i would have to guess YES.

^ I vote that all the rats/beaters park together. We can sit on our cars and look smug.

I like that idea, rats and beaters have style.
BTW, I have a full 69 lock set in the "save for later stupid ideas" pile if you need.
Try rolling the car backwards, it has non servo brakes.

Somebody did molest that car because I believe that is not stock. It has smog stuff plus some "extras" I believe.
Yes there should be a "ratsun" section at Solvang with signs that say "You can touch the car"
Hehe,

Welcome from another 69 owner. Mine sat for 11 years, and looks like it needs more work than yours. I hope to be at solvang with a car, but will be there one way or another.

Cheers,

Sounds like a bring parts and tools BBQ would get it done.

Great car, welcome... and definitely he's a great guy for giving you the gift of roadster-togetherness! Personally, I love seeing all that original smog-tube craziness, but we will all understand when you toss it. :)
