That was a great trip. I was able to get a few pictures of the drive on my camera, but forgot it at home today. Here is a shot I grabbed with my phone.

Garm got a nice shot.

Looks better with that hood?

If things go well (and they almost never do) I might be looking better by Solvang.

Sweeeeettt... Some beautiful looking cars for sure. Looks like that drive alone would be worth the trip to California.

The drive we are planning for the May long weekend near Kelowna will be like that - lots of twisties and no posties... Oh wait, I might have veered off topic there.

^ they are separate. I keep hearing if you can get DMV in Sacramento on the phone, they are free; but I've never been successful doing that. I'm making some for my car, would be pretty easy to make extras.

Those tabs are NOT part of the frame.

I recieved them from the YOM team in Sacramento CA for free. If you want to get the year of manufacturing plates on your roadster (pre 1970), you can fill out this form

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/forms/reg/reg352.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And take it along with your plates to a local DMV (there are 9 conditions you must meet - on the form). Pay the fee and they will send a photo copy of your plates off to Sac. Once it has been processed, you can call (916) 657-8506 let them know you are looking for your plates and want the tag tabs to be sent along with your new registration. The problem is that the local DMV person will have limited (if any) about the process, so you will need to be paticent. For those with plates already assigned to their car, you might be able to just call and get the tabs.
