I don't have too much confidence that re-torqueing will help, but I figure it's worth a try. I did notice the wheels are VERY light for a street car, they remind of the wheels we used on our SCCA race cars long ago. Like you I can't justify more expensive wheels, and since these came free with a $400 roadster, I can't really go wrong.
