SuperCar Sunday meet: Jan 29 SoCal

Post by Garm »

Calling all SoCal Roadster owners.

Jan 29 is the last Sunday of the month, the "big one" of every month at SuperCar Sundays.
Yesterday, thanks to Linda and Juan, we had three Roadsters to show off.

Let's hit it big and go for a little drive (one hour max) after the Jan 29 meet shuts down. You'll be home for brunch. ;)
Even if you can't come for the drive, come for the meet.

Corner of Topanga Canyon and Erwin Streets, back of the Promenade Mall parking lot.
Jan 29, 7:00 am to get good spots and park together.

Corner Bakery is there with hot coffee and food.

If there is enough interest, we can meet up close by and roll in together.

It's packed by 8:00 tp 8:3o, and pretty much over by 10:00. It's a casual meet, come anytime but you may not be able to park with the pod.

Maybe stake out some spots off to the right in the middle rows for late arrivals.
So the run starts at 10 I presume.

This should be alot of fun. Here's some details:
We meet at SuperCarSunday meet at Macy's parking lot Topanga and Oxnard Woodland Hills, 1 mile from the 101 on Topanga. You can't miss it. 8-10 is the meet lots of cars to see, time to chat etc.
10A is the Run. Route is Topanga Bl to Mulholland past Kanan Rd to the Rock Store on Mulholland, keep going up the Snake, get your picture taken by RockStorePhotos (smile!) then maybe Encinal Cyn or Decker Canyon to PCH then to Neptune's Net on PCH, lunch on the beach (bring it or buy it) and then disperse.
Run, part 2 if there is interest to be determined. Could be several choices.

AND Garm, with his company Micro Image, has agreed to sponser a drawing for a cool Stainless Steel mug with pics of the winner's choice on it. 1 free ticket per car. Can be pics you have or new ones, up to 4, to be made and shipped to your door. Must be digital pics, hi res preferred, sent to me or you can choose. I'll post the ones I take. If you buy a Rock Store Photo pic I can use that also. (I have no financial interest) Mug is made at Walmart and they turn out great. I love mine and will bring it!
So should be fun.
Anyone who wants to volunteer a place to stay the night before to out of towners is free to do so!

Make sure your brakes are good you are going to need them :)

I would be happy to host a POST car run meet at my house in Van Nuys - throw some stuff on the barbie - whatever - please let me know if you would be interested so that I can plan stuff - we can chat - fix stuff (lots of tools) and just connect/reconnect.
Pls rsvp by Saturday 12P so that I can get in suitable supplies - just bring what you want to drink - I will supply the rest
