Hello all! Just traded One of my 240Z's for 4 roadsters

Post by mac762 »

Hi everyone. I have owned at least 20 early Z cars but never a roadster. Well recently a friend of mine who has fooled with them for years needed a 240Z so we made a trade. I ended up with 4 cars. One that was a driver up till a couple years ago. One 2000 parts car. One race car project he had started many years ago where he put a narrowed 9" ford in a 69 then added the whole front suspension from a Nascar Dash series car which he was going to put a 3.8 buick in. It has a full set of racing glass fenders to go with it. One fairly well stripped early car and a decent amount of parts. Look forward to learning more about them and may be selling some of this stuff.
Thanks!

Welcome, seems that you scored quite a haul. We look forward to your posting and pictures - it's a great mix of stuff from all corners Roadster it seems.
I'm also sure many here will welcome a new parts offering too!

The red 69 2000 looks very coomplete and salvagable!

Red one is pretty rusty been exposed to the elements for many years but has a lot of useable parts.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Guess I need to figure out what to keep and what to sell. I still have to go through the trailer of parts I got with them. Looks like mostly hoods, bumpers, wheels. Not a lot of smalls.

You may well be able to finance a good portion of the restoration if the big parts are in good shape.
I'd sort out your initial project car first (the '70), see what you need then start selling. Keeping in mind you could need two sets of parts to bring the '69 back too.
