Greg,
What paint system do you use , and what will you be using on the Roadster? Will you take it down to bare metal also?
Cars look great.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

I'm using Planet color on the roadster, Used Ultra 7000 on the Z. Generally, if you have decent paint on the car already its worse to go to bare metal as paint adheres better to other paint. However, If the paint is in bad shape... Its always better to just start over fresh.

My roadster will be media blasted to bare metal because of all the issues i've found with 70's body/led/bondo repairs. I like to beat all my panels out with a hammer to shape them and not use much if any bondo. This can be opening a titanic can of worms though as you may find that you will spend 10x as much fixing all the bad things you find as just shooting it with paint. A 44 year old car that looks straight before a resto has seen some body work 9 times out of 10 and 9 times out of 10 its seen some poor bodywork.

Hey Greg, David in Phoenix, I just started on my 69 a few weeks ago. I have it on a rotesserie now and just finishing up on the patch panels. I was thinking about the Lexus Red.

It will be thicker, require more watering and will be harder to mow....
