I took it for a spin......
Well everyone, my roadster is running and I took it for a spin tonight!! Going 5 mph, boy was I flying! But when I turned the block I was going like 20 mph!!! Then I realized the steering would swerve side to side, it wouldnt stay stable... The sway bar!!! I forgot to install it! Although once I arrive at my house, the roadster turned off, all power went out on it. Although I had a good time, anyone know what could have cause this "short"??

Sounds to me like you have something loose in the steering. You should look into that very carefully. Your steering box could be very loose. As for the sudden shut off, look for one of your battery connections to be loose, at either end. I think you might have just dropped the groudstrap or something.
Congratulations,

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

I think we all need to congratulate Joaquin on his effort. He assembled a roadster from the ground up with very little help and no previous roadster experiance. My hat is off to him. I'm guessing he is the youngest roadster owner, and deffinetly the youngest to build one.
Joaquin, you rock.

Thanks everyone!!! And yes, I did find out the problem (loose ground cable), and the car was taken out for a few more spins around the block.... Once the cars motor has been broken in I will probably definately be going to Solvang!! Not sure about Shasta though!! its a pretty long trip from here(+8hrs)!! I gotta thank you all here on the forum, for all the help, and advice, and encouragement from all of you! Who ever will be going to Solvang, I am glad to say, I will see you there...
