Has anybody put power brake on a SPL ??

Post by Cameron Herrmann »

Since there seems to be a number of folks that have been daring enough to boost the HP of these Go-Carts, jsut wondered if anybody has thought of a way to slow them down ??

Breck (THANKS VERY MUCH) sold me a couple of his magic Volvo, dual line manifolds for a pending conversion, but I'm wonder would be the best replacement for the Master Cyl. ??
(Before I start spinning wrenches..)

Any suggestions ??
:?:
Thanks,
Cam

seems like it'd be tough to find enough room to squeeze a brake booster in there. Besides, you want a really muscular left leg right?

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Earyl RX7's had a tiny little booster. I've heard that it will fit in the notch in the Roadster cowl. I was toying with the idea of installing a hydraulic booster like the one that came on my 97 Chevy C3500. It is only about two inches in diameter and would fit well in the cowl. You would have to install a power steering pump to make it work.
