I have the wrong gasket?

Post by steve68 »

i got a gasket set from discount auto parts for $32. To good to be true i thought. Well it was. The computer says its for a r16, it says its for a r 6 same as the r 16. but the single head gasket which the computer refers to says l16,l18,l20 etc.

where can i get the right set?

thanks

You can get them from the vendors of course! If you need it NOW, there is another option. Go to your local Nissan Forklift supply store. Get the head gasket for the early H20 engine and you should be in business. They keep them in stock.

That is a pretty common problem and happens quite a bit-especially if you are new to roadsters. 8) Many auto parts places list the gasket sets but they are almost always for the L Series overhead cam motors. H20 gaskets and other bits definitely work.
