We are staying at the Kronborg Inn. Anyone else? Is anyone stopping at the Woodlake bowl on Friday? If so, what time is your eta?

The group from San Diego (Brain, Paul, Dave and maybe ME) should be there by 11-12.
I think they are planning to leave after lunch.

I still haven't finalized the plans with Dick and Paul but we were tenativly looking to meet at the Starbucks at the Carlsbad Company Stores (Palomar Airport Road / I-5) around 9. I will let you know for sure on Thursday.

Bruce,
I was having a low volume / pressure drop problem that turned out to be a bad fuel pump.
I installed a new Bosch pump and fixed an air leak in the low pressure side of fuel system.
Everything looks OK, but I screwed with my fuel map and now I need to re-tune her. I should be able to get the wide band O2 installed tomorrow night and do a quick adjustment. I lost the copy of my fuel map in a computer crash ( I know I have a hard copy filed away LOL...but were?)

I have Thursday off, so I should be able to meet you guys at Starbucks.

Since this will be my first trip down to Solvang what can I expect? Are there vendors, swap meet etc? Unfortunately I'll be sans Roadster, but am looking forward to meeting everybody.

The Plan is:

Driving up with Brain, Paul and Dave after meeting in Carlsbad to Woodlake Alleys and have lunch-say Hi.
Then I am going to drive to Laguna Seca going "near" Solvang (Buelllton).

Phil is King of the raffles. First year, he won a distributor, which wont fit an FJ, and IIRC, the next year another FJ owner won the distributor! I won a set of carbs first year, which was great, ironically I had just bought a set from Keith 6 months before.

This Tuesday night we suddenly decided "The Hell with it, we're just going to fly out and show up at the bowling alley and surprise a few people" figuring we could get a deal on last minute airfare. We figured very wrong. If we had been 3 days earlier, it would have worked, but couldn't find anything close to reasonable, so can't do it. BTW, Svengaards had 2 rooms avail as of Tues night.
Next year, definately.

Actually, It could be made to fit as one of the "trick" set-ups when they go to carbs is to use a B210 distributor with the FJ20 Gear.

FJ owners are LUCKY!

I did not get my car tuned to my satisfaction, so I am riding up with Ron.
