Recently Ordered Nissan Parts Through Local Dealer

Post by Linusrp »

Everyone,

There are still parts available out there from Nissan directly. I have been working with a local parts manager and here is a list of parts I have bought from him within the last four months(all of these came from domestic Nissan dealerships);

B7010-12901 Heater core $78.30
48522-16501 Dust Cover ball joints/tie rods 6 at $6.15 ea.
40160-25900 Ball Joint-lower 2 @ $137.33 ea.
26120-12901 Lamp-parking (front) 4 @ $25.29 ea. (amber lenses)
40232-16500 Seal- grease (front) hub 2 @ $2.57 ea.
38212-04101 Seal-Oil (rear) 2 @ $3.55 ea.
43223-04101 Seal- Grease (rear) 2 @ $3.55 ea.
54613-04200 Bushing- bar ( stock stabilizer bar- cylinder shaped) 2 @ $2.59 ea.
No shipping charges!!

I am not trying to direct you away from the various vendors, I purchase quite a bit from several of them myself, but wanted everyone to know there are still some parts out there if somebody looks. The prices are much better too. I keeping taking in a list and only end up with about 35-40% available but that isn't bad. I am not stocking these for sale. I am using them to replace various parts on my own early 67 1600.

RE:Parts From Dealerships

I am with you. I try to order parts from several of the local dealers. Much cheaper! I have supported all of the vendors at one time or another but saving money is never a bad thing. :?

That's great news, especially about the heater core.

One item you'll probably want to avoid ordering from Nissan is the external voltage regulator.

There are three of 'em in the parts manual w/ the first two being NLA. I ordered the third one (P/N 23500-89910) after being quoted an estimated $35. When it finally arrived, the original P/N was NLA and another substituted (sry, don't have the P/N in front of me) and the cost was $130......YIKES!!!!! :shock:

I returned it.....duh. :P
