Nor-Cal meet 4/23

Post by datsunrides »

Guys, there will be another potentially large get together on 4/23 in Pleasanton. I went last year (in my Accord) and there was close to, if not more than 150 cars! Let's see some Roadsters this year. http://www.japanesenostalgiccar.com/for ... hp?t=13330

I missed the first one so I will try to make it, looks like fun!
Maybe we should get more Bay Area folks to come out as a "pre-Solvang" shakedown

Gee Mark, You can practically start your own Japanese car show with all the cars I saw listed in your stable. Kudos to preserving those cars! Hope one day you can add a 1800 GTR Isuzu Bellet?

A Bellet would be a nice addition, let alone a GTR version. You sayin' you got one? :)

Holy crap Batman!!!!!

I had no idea there was a show like this last year, is parking 1st come 1st served or do they stage cars by make and model?

I've got this marked on my calender.

Real informal. Parking is 1st come, 1st served. Parking lot is huge so I would not expect issues. One note, it does cost something like $6 to park. I'm still trying to decide what car to bring!

I might be able to make this.

Looks pretty cool, might have to drag myself down there. Maybe Will can drive slow and wait for me.

FYI, I just noticed at some point the meet changed from Shadow Cliffs to Lake Del Valle.

Finally, SUNSHINE in Nor-CAL.

I plan on being there. Just charged Scooter's battery and drove him to work yesterday. Started right up after many months of sitting idle in the garage.

Thinking about camping but it's only 30 minutes or so from my house so I'll be there one way or another.

Hope to see a lot of Roadsters there.

Cheers,

RR

So am I the only Roadster showing up at this event?

I will most likely be there, but probably not in my Roadster. If I get the 5 speed swap in my Colt completed, that is what I plan to take. If that does not get done, then I will bring the Roadster.

I'd like to go, but currently I'm in final race thrash to get the car ready for Laguna at the end of the month. Its close, but I keep running into minor set backs. Nothing serious, just time consuming.
