I have a collegue, who joins every Saturday morning about 60-100 cars ranging from street rods to Porsches, VW's, Cobras, Corvettes, Mustangs and other varietal muscle cars that get together at the shopping center at Harbor and Adams in Huntington Beach.
They all show up about 6:00AM and are leaving by 8:30 AM. If you don't get there by 6:30 you might be out of luck in getting a space to show off your wheels.
This would be a great place for you guys to meet and see some other great iron. Let it be known and I'll try to make it.

I don't know of any good scenic drives around, if anyone has any idea let me know. I was thinking about maybe just getting together at one of the local beach cities.
The Fuddrucker's in Pasadena does hold a car show every Sat starting at around 4pm I think. There's a lot of old american iron there, but we wouldn't be the first Datsun Roadsters to show up there. I have seen a couple there before and one Z I think.

Someone posted this on another site I look at. It's focused on motorcycles, but they like the same roads as we top-down types.

Well, I go there often, but it sure wasn't me impressing anyone with my roadster.
By the way, it is at Adams and Magnolia (not Harbor as was prev. posted). The quality of stuff there is incredible, mostly due to local HotRod businesses (Chip Foose, John Buttera) showcasing their work. Can get a bit 'sick' with Cobras on some days. Oh yeah, and arrive before 6 or ya park elsewhere. Everyone out by 8am.
I am a regular addict, odds are if ya see someone with a kid strapped to his front, that is me.
If you are in the area, 7-9am at Crystal Cove shopping ctr in Newport has some great pieces of people's collections. You'll see Dan Gurney and his 'Gator there about every other weekend.

Hey, I'm always up for a ride. Recently Gary Cohen and tried to put a ride together. We announced it on the roadster mailing list only. listUnfortunatly, We didn't get much get much attention. But, We did end up having a wild time. We were joined by Art Rockwell in his recently completed SR20 conversion. We went up Boquet caynon road, Geen Valley Road (remeber that route, Andrew?), coffee at the Rock Restruant, then to Frasier Park.
Guys:
Anyone around Pomona? Ever since I moved here 5 months ago, I have not been able to work on my Roadster! All I need is tuning the engine, paint the body, and find a windshield.....and redo the bathroom & kitchen (priorities....priorities!?!?!?!?). I need my forum friends to help me get this thing going again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
