I was checking out the new Beck Arnley online catalogue and came across the early 510 clutch master cylinder number, 072-1084, used till 2/69.

Has anyone tried one of these masters on the roadster?

The current one I have installed is the replacement master 072-6521 listed for both the roadster and the 510.

Is the 072-1084 the OEM roadster clutch master cylinder by chance?

I use a 510 clutch master cylinder and it seems to work fine. You just need to make sure the fittings are on the correct side.

I use a 240Z brake master with the roadster steel bolts installed. The bolts are the part that the brake lines screw into. The 240Z bolts are tapped for metric brake lines. The roadster are tapped for standard. Make sure you use a new crush washer when swapping out. An impact wrench helps a lot getting these things apart.
