Works perfectly on U20,R16 or R20 Stroker using the aftermarket weber manifold.

I dig it! Not thrilled on the filter element, but I love the lid and base!

So the 2" element addresses all the limitations of the stock filter--Washable (so you don't have to buy a $100.00 one time element), accepts up to 50 mm velocity stacks, flows enough air for ANY stock or highly modified U20, and looks true to the original with the perforated surround.

For those who prefer a TOTALLY stock look, the assembly works perfectly with the stock solex AF element. (photo shown)

PM me if you want a AF assembly without the 2" element.

Very nice! Is the cover stamped or machined?

The cover and rear plate are stamped, then hand finished, so it doesn't look like a machine made (cnc, billet etc) part. It looks virtually identical to the original 67.5.

2 are gone. Only one in stock now.

Thanks all!

I like the bigger air cleaner as it makes the engine breathe much better. I used to double stack my solex air filters and you can ask Greg Burrows what a difference it makes to performance when we drove to Shasta one year. The ony down size will be greater roar of the mighty solex!!!(as if thats a downside!!) The price is great and the product looks awesome. My suggestion is buy one now!

Great job,If you can make that you should reproduce the 67.5 shifter plates.

Beautiful piece!

Just curious, the later style enclosed Solex filter housing has "mini" air horns attached on the base; it looks like this one uses a separate horn? If one wanted to use the stock element, do you have the shorter air horns available that work with it?

Also, will you have your second run of housings be done in time to bring them to Solvang? Can you PM me pricing without the K & N element?

Thanks, Paul
