The new lock and its key are exactly as they came from the Nissan dealer when I bought them. The used lock has a key supplied by a licensed locksmith where the key was made to the number code on the lock. Key blanks for roadster locks are in short supply.
These locks seem to be getting scarce.

Why does the key in the picture of the "new" lock and key look like an antennae key?
Why does the key in the "used" picture look like an early ignition key?
