Where was everyone? I counted only 3 roadsters including mine (I got there late.)

John Baker's beautiful '69 2000 was the only one that wanted to be photogenic

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Dan Magliari was the third car. I shot a bunch of pics but they just didn't come out well. The car was parked in the shade and I just couldn't get a good shot.

Sooo we can expect an in-depth multi-paragraph report in the Tire/wheel section right?!

I was checking them out at Canepa C&C, and man those things are narrow!
I occasionally lock up my fronts during more "spirited" driving and my tires have about twice the contact area you're rocking!
Oil a little low? Time to get a longer dipstick:)

Haha - I'll cut to the chase, bias plys look great but are like driving on ice skates (4" track)! I overshot the entrance to Canepa by a little bit the other Saturday, and got the car's rear end to slide!

You need some Hoosier Street TDs ;) Bias ply tires, but they do stop and corner. They also happen to be race tires so they don't last long. Sounds like you need another set of wheels and tires for non show use.

A friend of mine has skinny bias plys on his '65 Alfa spider. I can't say they are confidence inspiring even in a car with 90 hp. Corning hard is not for the faint of heart.

Its kinda sad that this show has shrunk so much. The last time I went it was HUGE. 50+ cars if not closer to 100 if I remember correctly. I was bummed when I got down there and only saw a handful. It would be great to get this back up to what it used to be.

I feel the same way it's sad to see attendance dwindle. IHMO there are just too many shows to attend. ZONC already has the Brisbane thing and then there is the Cars and Coffee at Blackhawk. Why would you go to Blackhawk twice?

2007, three roadsters:

2008: three roadsters (you, me, Magliari) :D

2009, just me:

Roadsters have never attended in big numbers except for 2006, where we had 16(1!) and over 100 total cars!
