:D
Forecast is rain from 1/5 to 1/9
1/12 should be clear and dry!

I'm thinking we enjoy some twisties on 84/stage/35/9 then finish with lunch or drinks at Alice's.

Well, looks like the storm forecast is rain through next weekend! Good for us, not so good for driving.

Fun Run 1/26

We are meeting at Buck's of Woodside at 7am:
3062 Woodside Rd.

This will be a slightly longer drive:
84 to 35 all the way to the end-Black Rd to Bear Creek to 9 to 1 and back up 84. Ending with brunch at Alice's around 10:30-11am.
Weather is looking fantastic!

The 1/26 fun run was epic! Gorgeous 70 degree weather, incredibly eclectic mix of cars and one exhilarating drive.

Starting at Buck's, bonkers selection of cars. Had no idea it was going to be like this!

We departed on 84 to Skyline and Bear Creek. So many cars that we split up into two groups

Took 9 to Coast HWY1 and all groups eventually met up at Whale City Bakery in Davenport, it was like a mini cars n coffee! I was lucky to also pilot this 1971 240z with chassis/engine upgrades...it blew my mind.

Final leg of the trip was via 84 to Alice's Restaurant, this is my favorite stretch of road here to drive fast and take chances :D
It also has some very nice pullouts for photo ops

Ready for the next fun run!?

Time for a Bay Area roadster Fun Run.
Can we plan for a Saturday/Sunday drive after the 10/5 weekend?

I'm thinking a drive up similar to this route:

I'm always up for suggestions and new places!

How about an Oyster run over in west Marin county. Maybe Sausalito to Marshall and stop at Tony’s for BBQ oysters and out to Bodega Bay?

Dano I should still have it, if not some of the driving pictures and vague route descriptions in my initial report may help :)

I’m in Santa Rosa. Would love to join if available and the route makes sense. Would be cool to meet some fellow Roadster drivers. -Andy

Drove through local Bay Area foothills and got some ideas for another Bay Area Fun Run, after our North Bay event!

Last weekend I drove this loop with a new (to me) section up Empire Grade, to Ice Cream grade and eventually Bonny Doon with a lunch stop at Alice's:

No sir still planning. Unfortunately our friends in the North Bay are dealing with fires. When things calm down we will settle on a date.
