I'm no wheel expert, but aren't those non stock wheels?

Linda

Oops missed that Ed will use stock wheels.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Stock wheels for Concours will be installed, just as Ed mentioned. Not sure about other things

Couldn't Ed also use the Appliance wheels since they were a dealer option at the time?

I imagine some of the Japanese cars will be Toyota 2000GT's, early Skylines, Z series, 510's, a Cosmo just to mention a few great Japanese car models.
Could be tough, but fun competition. I'm glad Dave Primo's car got accepted, it is a very nice car, great representative of
the roadsters. Be nice to see some early examples and late examples of our cars in the show so people can see a complete range of
years the cars were made.

Very funny Alvin! If Ed loses it's your fault.

To entice more Japanese car clubs, the organizers are giving us FREE VIP parking adjacent to the Japanese exhibit! All you need to do is mention your car club at the gate and park with your fellow J-tin owners! Please remember, entrance into the concours is $20.

Linda I will have to run with my Panasports stock or not thats all I have, just got rid of some 67 date code stock rims about six months ago. I think it's just good to be in the show. Let the chips fall where they may. Ed hope to see you at the show, and my money is on your car.

Thanks Dave, that's quite a compliment. However I would tell everyone to put their money on your car! I received an email
yesterday that the application has been received and is being reviewed by the selection committee, and that they would respond
by April 30. I still have to paint or powdercoat my wheels, and RCMike has offered his hub caps to sell or to lend (really cool deed!).
I have to work on my car hauler trailer, so I have to spend money before I even know if I get selected-its called gambling! I actually
rattle can painted my steel wheels and threw on my beat up hub caps with 20 year old tires and took some pics. It is still winter
here in NW New Mexico so no nice areas to take a professional pics, did the best I could. I'll see where it goes. If I get selected
I'll be there. I will need info on the area, never been to the Marin, Sonoma area, and recommendations on where to stay.
Hey Alvin, does the ZiaRoc New Mexico club count for the VIP parking? Thanks all.

FYI-I received a letter with an invitation to show my car. Does anyone know the area? I will
be trailering the car and need to stay in a motel with enough room to park my truck and trailer.
Thanks,
